Biography

O.G. Blake Owens is a New Orleans-based Hip-Hop artist whose music is as deeply rooted in community as it is in culture. Known for his authentic voice and high-energy live performances, Blake brings the spirit of New Orleans to every stage — backed by his live band New Orleans Most Wanted.

His sound blends classic Hip-Hop lyricism with the raw, brass-infused energy of his city. From his track "Culture" (feat. Shamarr Allen) to the visual anthem "Bikeman", Blake's catalog reflects a life lived at the intersection of music, movement, and community.

Off the mic, Blake is a founding architect of Get Up N Ride NOLA — a social cycling movement he co-founded in 2015 with Nick Reed that has grown from a weekly ride between two friends to a New Orleans institution with hundreds of riders. The movement has been featured in NOLA.com and Nola Chic, and has inspired a nonprofit foundation: the Get Up N Ride Foundation.
